Description
I so enjoyed building up the layers of stems, leaves, and flowers in this painting, not sure what the end product would look like. The inspiration came from a photo I took of my flower bed when it was at its peak in July, before any flowers had started to fade. I love how this native plant grows tall on slender stems and keeps blooming through the summer.
11×17 acrylic on canvas. Depth is a half inch. Ready to hang without a frame. Painting continues around the edges.
